The Fellowship of the On-Line Offshoot Parish of the Church of Brad present...
Complacency
|
Welcome fellow travelers on the road of life; welcome to "Complacency."
Have you come seeking solitude? understanding? love? an ST:CCG game?
Will you find it here? Come to our place and see. Everyone is welcome in Complacency.
This lush, beautiful valley known as Complacency is frequented by Brad and his followers and friends,
all of whom are very fond of the great outdoors. The site has facilities for lovers of all
sorts of outdoor sports, including a long running track, volleyball court and two tetherball
poles. Directly to the south lies the dam site, to the
east the Corral, and directly through the valley's heart the River of Love flows.
You may come on foot or horseback, by vehicle or hot air balloon. However you arrive you
will find your stay most satisfying. Even though the site is unfinished (we are constantly working on it),
Brad and his fans and friends
come here for regular cookouts and weinie roasts. And they're not above "roasting"
Brad a bit because he loves to be teased.
Due to frequent visits by Alberta RCMP, alcoholic beverages are discouraged at Complacency, although not disallowed. Alfredo the
deaf-mute bartender has been known to smuggle in beer, and the Church of Brad
brings its sacremental wine, and gin and tonics.
Although the Church of Brad uses this site often, it is a relaxing retreat for people of
all ages, sizes and hair styles (or lack-of-hair styles). An outdoor temple (that doubles as a sacred altar) for official
Church of Brad rituals will be installed on the site, along with a facility for baptisms in the
waters of the dam. Says Pope Solok I the Innocent, "I'm looking forward to my special
ministry to fallen wymen....possibly pushed by Maelwys or tripped by Bob."
On evenings lit by the full moon you may see a line of shrouded figures making their way accross
Complacency and down the long ramp to the Restoration Pool. These are the sacred virgins of Brad,
on their monthly pilgrimage. On these nights, we respectfully ask that you not interfere as this
is one of their most sacred rituals, bathing their sins away in the ice-cold waters brought in from
the River of Love through underground streams.
But any other time of day or night, guests are encouraged to take a dip, as the healing waters
of the Restoration Pool are said to leave one feeling invigorated and rejuvinated (just ignore
the pods that reside at the bottom of the pool).
