The shore of the lovely Clear Lake Reservoir in the heart of rustic Alberta is the home of...

Bragu's Dam Emporium Restaurant and Roadkill Grill

Artistic Consultant's Rendition Welcome, one and all to the best dam restaurant in North America.
Jointly owned and operated by Chef bragu and the Management, Bragu's Dam Emporium boasts a bed & breakfast, gardens, a slew of family fun attactions and tours, camping, and a quiet spiritual retreat under the open sky.

Bragu's Dam Emporium . . . the birthplace of Synthale
According to Chef bragu, "...Synthale was first concocted at Bragus Dam Emporium and will be served on starships for 47 centuries!"

Constructed from 1,500,400,967 dam lego bricks donated by jeffpicard Construction Co., Bragu's Dam Emporium is "mostly red but with a border of blue, and have clear lego bricks for a dam good view of the reservoir."

The south shore On the south shore of the reservoir sits the five-star restaurant serving the best in home-cooked Iowan cuisine: Corn-pone Cakes, Walleye on a Stick, Candied Yams and Thrice-stuffed Potatoes are just a few of the items on the Dam Menu. As well, Chef bragu serves up specialty dishes with a more internationally acceptable flavour like Cabbage Rolls, Possum Stew, Roo Tail (tastes like chicken!) . . . and the vegetarian delight--Popcorn and Red Cream Soda. And for those with a more adventuours pallette, Chef bragu's motto becomes "Waste not, want not!" as he gives new meaning to "roadside cafe". On the flipside of our Dam Menu you can check out the more edible portions of wild (and domesticated) life.

The road in The Dam Emporium site has easy access roads to...

The road out ...and from the dam site. Here, on the pristine Alberta highways, motorists and bikers can encounter a wide variety of wildlife . . . or what's left of it, for there's never a shortage of food at Bragu's Dam Emporium--not when Dietary Innovations Co-ordinator Dr. Bob Kavorkian goes hunting for supplies in the Dam Jeep. If you're observant too, you might just spot Fast Food Assistant Cuppa Joe hiding in the bushes along the roadside, his rifle cocked and ready, always vigilant and watchful. After all, it's not an easy job, scaring up game for Dr. Bob to hit (the rumour that Cuppa Joe has had to use the rifle to disable the Dam Jeep in self-defense is greatly exaggerated).

(Please note that neither the Canadian Health Protection Branch nor the American Food and Drug Administration has in any way, shape or form proven "road-kill" to be at all dangerous to one's health.)
