Admiral McCoy - Prudence - Admiral McCoy had a hard time expressing himself as a youngster in ways that would not offend his parents. Later, Admiral, you realized that that unless you resist the pull and tug your family, you will never get an opportunity to make a life of your own. Even if you sever ties completely with your family, you will always be grateful for the lessons they taught you. You will become increasingly dissatisfied with yourself unless you get involved in activities that will prove how valuable you can be to others. Working diligently with people, offering your services in a career that exploits your talents creatively, will allow you to make a very comfortable living. You put a fierce, nervous energy into your career, often overreacting to people’s expectations and doing more than is required. Avoid acting hastily or on impulse; complaining about the way things are run to your supervisor may be risky—you would end up offending someone. Loosen up a bit, and develop an interest in various subjects that have nothing to do with career. Cultivate people who can help you forget your daily routine. You especially want to travel, to be free to circulate amongst those who share your interests and eagerness to excel. You excel at making friendships, even with adversaries; you are able to detach yourself from old friends, for you know you will make new ones easily. Though you are willing to make sacrifices to help someone in need, you will not compromise just to spare someone’s feelings when they are in the wrong.
