Taris, you realize how others’ needs have a high priority and that your personal desires have to come second. This is the key to that security which you need, and being well-informed helps you find the way to that security. Your dilemma is to cope with the demands placed on you and still satisfy your family’s and your own needs; you may feel guilt about not doing enough in both these areas. Family is important, but don’t let it interfere with your ability to form relations which will benefit you. You are overly cautious about asserting yourself to meet new people. Gradually detaching yourself from the home and family will work well for you. Assert yourself, also, to develop your talents; if you wait too long, your interest slacks off. Don’t compare your skills to those of others’, because that will erode your confidence. Any anxiety about your talents will vanish as you learn to exploit your creative potential. You are vulnerable to overt displays of affection, and so others can take advantage of you. You may find yourself doing everything and them doing nothing. You will jump at an opportunity which allows you to demonstrate that you care for others. In spite of this, you resent that you don’t have enough time to take care of your own needs. Having a partner who will share the load equally will allow you to operate at your best. True understanding—a spiritual bond—between you and your partner is essential for the relationship to last. Don’t imagine that a good relationship will be the end to your nightmares; but if you have a sincere understanding of your situation, you will do well. You are willing enough to serve those in need, but be careful not to exhaust yourself. Sacrifice is not difficult for you if you know that it is appreciated.
