The Fine Line Between Guts and Stupidity
by Kor This is by far the riskiest deck I have ever put together. I played it against Spock for the ISOWC Semi-Finals. We played the best out of three games; he won the first one and I won the last two. The deck did not work as planned, our second game lasted just under five hours and I had to clear out five of my missions to win the last game with a score of 224 to 1. So here it is. Seed Deck (30)
Missions (6)
Q’s Tent (13)
Explanation: Self seed the three Pla-Nets under three of your missions after your opponent seeds something there. Get Tarus and Takket with AMS. On your first turn, Defend Homeworld for Lore, ASP for Tomalak and Spacedoor for a D’deridex. Undock, use MiS to get RRD to get SSM and attempt the mission. With luck, you will only have to face one dilemma per mission since SSM will get rid of the first and Pla-Net will get rid of the last. Put the RRD on your draw deck so you can do it again next turn. The flaws in this deck are obvious (Writ of Accountability, The Big Picture, The Wake of the Borg, Commander what’s-her-name, Balancing Act, I Tried to Warn You, ect…), but that’s the risk you take. You know what the Ferengi say, “The riskier the road, the greater the profit.” ~Kor For more on ISOWC, check out http://www.kedanya.org/hq/isowc2001/wchome.html
