Mirror Mirror Scenario Tournament Report
by Spock

Another day, another MM tournament.. ;-)  Wanted to play KCA, but I knew if I built a new deck I'd keep timing out, so I went with my TE deck again.  9 other players showed up.

Game 1: vs Matt Blackwell :-p
Matt keeps beating me lately…anyway, I kill off some of his personnel with Doppleganger, and he kills off some of mine with about 7 hand weapons.  He solves a couple missions…I get stopped at one and before I can solve he using Stolen Attack Ship to beam his personnel aboard.  Didn't find out if he would have killed my mission solvers, as at this point we were one of 4 games to time out :-p
15-65 Total: 0 (-50)

Game 2: vs Nathan Lundquist
I keep hitting his Q flashes, which are a bit annoying.  Oddly enough, we don't duplicate anything…I solve a couple of missions and then his Q's Planet (which ended up in the mirror quad instead of the alpha quad where he wanted it) just ahead of the clock for the 100-0 win.  Total: 2 (+50)

Game 3: vs Josh Colwell
He's running an interesting deck with both DS9 and Mirror Terok Nor, using GQ at the one and ore processing at the other.  I trip a Sheliak on the MTN, but it never arrives.  I get two missions before we time out.
Score: 80-0  Total: 3 (+130)

Game 4: vs Matt Garrett
Ever have one of those games that makes you want to hit your head and say "doh!"?  He had two missions I should have been able to steal, but I seeded my dilemmas wrong, and he beat me to the first by one turn.  His RBMs slowed me down enough for him to get a full win.
Score: 15-100  Total: 3(+45)

Matt ended up in first with 8 (+355), the only player not to time out all day.  2nd place was Atticus Bergman with 4 (+110)

Playing in my first Warp Speed tournament tonight…I'll post a tournament report if it turns out to be interesting.
