Star Trek sealed…my favorite type of tournament :-)  Tonight's tournament is TwT starters, then 1 TwT booster and 2 MM boosters for drafting.  I got Feds and drafted some nice cards including Captain Dax and I'm a Doctor, Not a Bricklayer.  (I actually passed up a Mr Nog for that IADNAB).  I don't remember a lot of details, so this will be a short report.

Game 1: vs Philip
I solved a couple missions, and he scored 5 points from one of my dilemmas.  I solved another mission to win.  100-95.

Game 2: vs Joe L
I got a Q-Net in my opening hand…but he had one diplomacy out almost immediately, so I waited until he moved the guy away before I played the Q-Net.  He scored Bat'leth Tournament for 25, losing 5 to Hazardous Duty in the process, then lost 10 more to a Lack of Preparation before I solved a third mission for the win.  100-10.

Game 3: vs Joe H
I COULD NOT draw engineer or medical.  Finally solved two missions, then headed for the third…got through the dilemmas but I had lost my only engineer to a Love Interest :-(  I played a Where No One Has Gone Before and went after her (Capt Dax) but Joe was able to score 50 points before I could solve the third mission for the win.  100-50.

Oddly enough, out of 8 players, 3 of the Fed players at this point are undefeated.  Matt Blackwell has 35 differential more than me and Matt Garrett has a bit less.  (You should see one of our Young Jedi tournaments - we're liable to have 4 Matts playing!)

Game 4: vs Mike
Cleared out the first mission, then had to wait for enginner.  Got her and solved.  He cleared out Bat'leth tournament but couldn't seem to get an engineer.  I solved another mission but lost 10 to a Lack of Preparation (last encountered!)   He went for another mission but couldn't find a 2nd astrophysics (I passed up A Fast Ship Would Be Nice to get the first of two Emergency Conversions) and I solved a third mission for the win.  100-0.

Joe L scored 80 points against Matt, so that puts me in first…my first sanctioned ST tournament win in a year, and it brings me to 18 total D. sanctioned tourny wins.  At this point I'm 4 match points ahead of anyone else in the league standings, so things are looking good for that box of Voyager…
