Interested in playing in tournaments online?  Lwaxy gives some details about Kedanya's online tournaments:

Online tourneys on Kedanya can have formats unlike anything you have played in real life, and thus a lot of fun is ensured. Of course, there are also regular swiss sealed and constructed events, but emphasis is to go where no one has gone before.

You have probably heard of the Independent Star Trek Online World Championships (ISOWC) and it's sealed deck equivalent, SOSDWC. Both of those are yearly events, standard swiss, though the sealed deck championship has every round using a different, interesting format. Normally, you will have a month's time for each round to play your opponent.

In both tourneys, you normally have 6 standard rounds. After that, the top 4 players play semifinals and finals. Each of those final games is in fact made up of 2 - 3 games. If one player wins the first two games, there will not be an additional game.

Both tournaments have Head Judges besides the tournament director to deal with eventual irregularities. In case judging is required by one or both players during a game, in most cases it is one of the Head Judges to do the judging.

Players in ISOWC and SOSDWC normally get prize support, something that isn't ensured with other Kedanya tournaments

Currently you can sign up for ISOWC 01 while ISOWC 2000 is waiting for only the finals to be played. Sign up for SOSDWC 01 has not yet started, but will soon. SOSDWC 00 is currently in round 4, and due to some delay in tournament schedeule due to a change of TD, one round was cancelled, so there will be only one more round to play before the finals.

Another tourney currently running is the Return to Farpoint sealed. This is supposed to be a fast tourney (from an online view), so there will only be 1 - 2 weeks for each round. For each round, you get two packs of the next expansion. We are currently in round 2.

Using some unorthodox formats, the Kedanya 8 Player events are played round robin, meaning you will be able to play everyone who has signed up for the same format. Usually, you have 3 month to complete this task, and if you do not manage to play all possible opponents, it does not matter much, although you are encouraged to do so. Usually, there is a new 8 Player tourney format and thus new playing group each month, each group consisting of 5 - 8 players. Currently you can sign up for "Constructed Draft" format, something you will only find on Kedanya. A script allows you to draft with yourself, but you still only get the usual number of cards for drafting, of course.
