Six Tips for Warp Speed Sealed
by William "Spock" Springer

1) Get either a Vidiian Sodality and medical-classification Vidiians or a Hirogen Hunt and lots of alpha-Hirogen (or even better, both!).  Free plays are killer in warp speed.  Imagine having both out and a perfect hand:  Play an alpha for free, a vidiian for free, 2 cards as your card plays, and you get a free ship at the end of the turn..

2) Stock hand weapons; occasionally you'll need to raise your attributes. I came in second one tournament because I couldn't pass The Clown: Beneath the Mask.  Attributes>23 can be harder to get than expected in sealed deck.

3) Don't play Borg. ;-) It's tempting, but unless you're an expert - and lucky - Borg player, you'll probably lose in this format.  I would not play Borg unless I got a queen and at least 4 adapts, and even then I'd be wary of the Hirogen.

4) Hit your missions as soon as possible. If possible, let your OP mission require just a few skills (so as to be able to pass LoP) and hit it first turn. In WS, he who waits, loses.

5) Seeds: you should have an outpost, Vidiian Sodality or Hirogen Hunt if you didn't get an outpost that downloads it, AMS if you got it. Opponent will have 2 of one type of  mission (space or planet) and 1 of the other; seed 4 dilemmas under the one mission and 1 or 2 each under the others.

6) Lower Decks. If your deck is largely Vidiian, you MUST have this card.  With a largely universal crew, Lower Decks saves you from an incredible number of dilemmas.  Don't forget that since this isn't a hand weapon, it still counts for Flash Plasma Storm.
