Crazy in Colorado IV
by Nathaniel "Ens Red Shirt" White

Well, here it is.. August 25th, the last time I wrote one of these was for the ill fated May issue, that was 2.5 months ago. Oops..  Well I am back again..

To pick up from last time I am enjoying my apartment and its always constant 80+ Degrees F not C.  Needless to say I can’t spell the F-word well enough to even let the spell checker correct it so if I refer to the F-word you will know what it means.  Beyond the overwhelming F-Ness of the Heat, My apartment is nice because it does allow me to get to a few more tourneys.  Unfortunately most of them are LotR and not ST.  Though I did go to a ST Tourney and played a sealed deck. Sadly everyone else played constructed.   Let me point out that Enhanced Premier does not work in this environment at all. I only got 20 points out of three games.  Anyways I have faired better in LotR mainly because I have decided to go to all sealed decks as I have found that I kick ass in that format.  In fact I have cracked the top 200 a couple of times in the rankings for the world, and if we had more sealed I would have no doubt about being tops in the state.  C’est La vie.

In other news of no interest I just got a brand new cell phone/PDA, which officially drains me of money.  So if anyone has some extra cash send me an email, maybe even with a list of ST:CCG, LotR:TCG, and JK:TCG cards you need and I will see what I can come up with.

Now on to the biggest thing since my last article, second edition!  My Response: “About damn time!”  The people in Norfolk have finally realized that it’s not the cards, but the rules that have killed this game.  Simplification is good.  It brings in new players and we will still get a few 1e compatible cards.  Reports from Gen Con have been mixed, but I look at it this way, 2nd edition, or a ST:TCG from Wizards, and after playing the idiocy that is SW:TCG, anything Decipher brings to the plate scores a win in my book.

Till next time,
